If City and Chelsea were the only options avaliable in England and it was them or a great club like Bayern(on smaller wages) perhaps he still has some propriety left in him, not bad for a drug cheat.

"City squad is much more fitted to Guardiola style in footballing terms than Bayern one is. City play much more similar football to Guardiola's Barcelona than Bayern are. Much, much more."

You what?

He has picked one of the best run clubs in world Football, shrewd move. All eyes are again on him, the £#%&!er will be white as a sheet by the time he is done there.

The (well-confirmed) rumours going around, earlier this month, had it that Pep was adamant to secure a coaching position by February latest, if he was end his sabbatical in 2013. Amidst speculation that The Date for Fergie was going to be July 2014, Pep was considering extending his sabbatical until then. But, after Fergie visited him in mid-December, he (unofficially) announced that he wanted back in to coaching in 2013. This clearly fuelled the rumour that Fergie told Pep he intends to stay on further than 2014. Up to, say, maybe, *cough* 2016 *cough*.

Plenty of dummies being spat out in the press.

Other than the United job are the others worth taking over? Bayern is a great club, it's a very sensible move for him. Be interesting to see how he does.

According to Foxy Coxy, Bayern are second to Barca in all of Europe for pass completion and possession. Save that one for the bitters.
