very very impressive today. as i said on the other thread, the contrast with kuszczak could not be more stark.

Thumbs up

commanded his area perfectly today, plucking crosses out the air with the authority of a man possessed with great talent.

Cant disagree with that Teville

Was very impressed

we will see in the coming years just how consistent he is but I place a lot of confidence in this lad

Looked very solid today, pleased for him, will give him a good boost in confidence; playing in a final, not much to do, two very good saves during the game and a penalty save

Needs to be given some more games now imo.

i actually dont wanna see him anywhere near the first team if Foster is fit tbh.

that first pen save was awesome!!!!!!

have slated him at times this season but he did very well today. if a lack of confidence was a problem previously this will definitely help. good lad

I might have failed to say how impressed I was by his 'geeing' up of the crowd at times, too (especially prior to, and during, the penalty shot out). MOM IMHO.

Very good, only issue you could have with today was a slight overeagerness when it came to throwing the ball too quickly. He tried to force it on occasion and it ended up with dangerous attacking ball for Spurs. It is a trade off though, knowing he has the potential to make us more dangerous on the counter.

I think his mental dash for a through ball in the first half could also be classed as an issue too, tbf.

yeah, he threw one up for carlitos with the two centre backs covering him.... surely, he wasn't expecting tevez to win it, keep and beat them both for pace? :0)

How many defenders can Tevez beat for pace? He may be the slowest forward we have had since the later McClair days.
