United squad has been neglected and in decline ever since Fergie's last year. Post Fergie the club was mis-managed by two complete buffoons who had no idea what it meant to be the manager of Manchester United, they squandered millions of pounds buying players that were not good enough to wear the shirt.

Now we have a manager of proven pedigree that is trying to sort out a squad which is a shambles and there #@&%!s who think this can be corrected in nine months

To Jose's credit he has had this squad of under achievers playing attacking football more often than not but has had to deal with some atrocious bad lack at the same time. Players missing sitter after sitter game after game and more recently and incredible injury crisis to our defence and midfield. None of that bad luck is down to the manager and to his credit he could still finish the season with two trophies.

United cannot afford to keep sacking managers and starting all over again. Jose is definitely the right man for the job and anyone that cannot see that knows nothing about football.

This isn't an incredible injury crisis, that was last season from November until about February. Was no excuse then, apparently..

Top 4 + Europa will be a great season all things considered. Europa on its own is fine. His selections in the Europa have impacted our league form so to end up with neither is colossal failure.

He'll get another shitload of money to spend and will be under pressure but we're not needing that much more to challenge for the league.

That is the key word that causes this type of thread to be created. Dealing in absolutes, alternative thoughts be dammed.

Majority on here would accept that Mourinho has done an adequate job, some criticism over team selection, rotation, tactics. The same analysis that every manager goes through, fairly mild stuff really.

funny to see the clowns queueing up to slate mourinho for suggesting shaw must have an important injury - how's that criticism looking now, with the news he has an important injury?

5th goes from being a failure to being acceptable if you have backed the manager hard.

Sparky starting this thread though

You'd know all about backing a failure of a manager hard of course. Wanting the next manager to fail to vindicate yourself is odd in the extreme , but i suppose that green don't come for free

Very petty during these desperate times.
