Thoughts on Mkhitaryan?

i'm still getting a kagawa vibe off him. lovely player in the main but eased off the ball far too easily at times.

needs better players around him or too powderpuff for this world?

If he was playing upfront at school we would have won every game

Easy to bully out of the game when you only have him to carry the ball from midfield to attack, in any way, on the pitch, and all his support is refusing to commit and/or playing supplementary fullback.

To inconsistent and goes missing too often when we really need him to step up. Needs to improve drastically next season or it's a 'No' from me.

He's in his first season in the league and he isn't getting a consistent run in any single position(like a few others) to build a rapport and play into form, so he comes in looks decent plays another game and is indifferent gets dropped and the cycle repeats. WIll likely kick on next year and tbh we can't keep giving up on expensive signings after a year.

There are a few players in the squad that would have benefitted from Mourinho applying his Zlatanesque policy of forgiving the odd shit game a bit more widely.

Great scoring record in Europe.
