Default top 4: yes or no? (end of april update)

some scientific facts*

we will finish on either 75pts or 74pts
city will finish on 76pts
dirties will finish on 74pts OR...or...76pts

i think with the injuries and amount of games we're gonna fall short in the league but will win the uefa cup.

I wanted to forget about the league and concentrate on the europa

I was hoping we'd be out of the race by now and putt all our eggs into one basket

But having said that Liverpool are so poor it's their for the taking isn't it?

I'd be surprised if Liverpool manage to win 3 games let alone four, it's a big ask I know but win on Thursday and we're big favourites to get top 4 so we got to go for it haven't we?

Nah. We've struggled to capitalise on our advantage every single time there's been a chink of light at the end of the tunnel. Denied. Will also fail in the Europa League for DOUBLE DOOM!!

After the Chelsea game, anything is possible.

The injuries might just have had a positive psychological effect too. We've gone mental.

3rd.

Still can't see it. City, Arsenal and Spurs away are going to be killers for us.

With a full squad, this would be a sizeable task. With all our injuries, it's simply going to be too difficult.

depends. we can burn 2 of them if he goes with the young guns, and spurs may be a complete mess by the time we go there.

City and Spurs, I'd agree with. It will take a monumental effort to take them down at their places....

Arsenal? If we were on the cusp of being relegating and we needed to win to survive and Arsenal were unbeaten in 100 games, I'd still wager we'd beat them purely because Mourinho has something over Wenger. I've never known anything like it

Also, we've been here before.
02/03 season. Keane, Neville, Beckham, Butt, Rio, all injured for games against Newcastle, Liverpool and Arsenal....Wiped the floor with all three of them

Can you add a 'don't know' option? Would like to register my opinion. Cheers.

It's an odd one as an easy run in might look better (didn't work last year) but taking points off rivals is a huge incentive and can be a win win.

If we can beat city and at least draw with the arse that keeps them back...Spuds may not have much to play for by then..

Nope.

Whatever other sides around us do, I just can't trust our team to do the necessary.

One thing in our favour is that Rashford and Martial are looking pretty fresh. If they both keep up their form of recent games (well, Sunday for Tony at least), then they're going to be facing some defenders with pretty heavy legs. Might just tip things in our favour.

Time for the forward to step up now...
