I thought city would win last year by 10+ points. bunch of quitters. on the one hand, shaw's back, ibra could be awesome (or not as good as he thinks hd is), rashers and martial.... de gea. we win the league. on the other hand, rooney in an underperforming midfield, carrick older, lack of cohesion in all areas.... chelsea will probs win the league. jo mo melts down.

can't see us outside the top 4. unless we focus on europa instead of treating it like the carling cup.

No idea, don't know enough about this new United, nor do we know enough about any of our rivals.

Leicester to finish mid table.

But Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, City, Dippers etc. no idea what will turn up this year as yet...

The boss has already said Wayne wont be playing there under any circumstance.

Currently? 3rd or 4th.

Thursday/Sunday taking its toll, defence still lightweight, midfield still old, attack still young or immobile..

Fancy Chelsea to be a completely different side this year, Liverpool with no europe can run themselves into the ground week in, week out, City might actually be arsed for more than 10 games, Arsenal have strengthened their midfield and were decent enough going forward and at the back last year to stay top 4. Spurs not sure about at all..

No CL, a proper CB signed, a right sided attacker with pace & creativity, Zlatan, Rashford / Martial maturing, Sheezus back in the mix, TF-M to progress & the possibility of Poggers to come - if not him then the 2nd on the list whoever that may be. Might even be more. We have the best 'keeper in the world.

& Jose. Traditionally a man to galvanise a squad early doors & get them playing with winning in mind. Score the most, concede the least. As footballing mantras go, it's pretty infallible when it comes to winning leagues.

I'll be honest, it'd be a disappointment with all of the above to not be very close to winning the league. Massive upheaval at other clubs as well, not just us. If we get out of the traps I reckon we'll lead from the front all the way.

If we don't sign Poggers & Shaw is badly compromised by his injury, Rooney plays up front the whole season & so on... hello darkness my old friend.

yes. he has.

however, with a front three of martial - ibra - rashford, wayne will not sit on the bench. jo mo will probably tell us rooney is a number 10, but we will all see what is happening.

if he plays 4 -2 -3 -1 the 3 could be Rooney, Martial Rashford with Rooney the central one.

The two hmmm

Second but with a very high points total.

We would of pissed it last season with Jose. City and Chelsea will be bang up for it and with new managers they will be thinking the same as us.

Fancy us to be pushing all the way to 1st place with Jose' in charge. Plus the quality signings so far and likely there will be more.

Well, no sign of the predicted asset stripping of their side as yet. Hold most of it together and a respectable 4th-6th is very possible.
