Shame there will be no 'marquee' signing.

Saying that, they have very rarely worked out anyway.

I'd rather have good, effective signings tbh. A bit of the unknown wouldn't go amiss..

Didnt say that did I and wasn't implying players we bought ten or twenty years ago.

I was talking about recently - Falcao, DiMaria - the Woody years.

Calm it down JCL, the ink's not dry on your contract yet pal. Zlatan did more than okay, Mata has been a quality signing. Bailly for £30m wasn't exactly cheap.

If it all works out

De gea
Valencia
Lindelof
Bailly
Darmian/rojo
Fabinho
Pogba
Herrera
Rashford/perisic
Belotti
Morata

That is one very physical jose side

But where's our sneijder, hazard, di Maria?

Maybe missing creativity.

Mkhitaryan, surely even the none believers so enough from him in his first season to cut him a bit of slack?

Was always the heartbeat of Dortmund when l watched them.

He's a bit more direct than creative though.

Wouldn't write him off but also wouldn't be so confident in him for big games.

He needs to step up next season without doubt, but he has all the attributes in my opinion.

As for the creative point, did he not have the highest amount of assists in Germany in his last season?
