Default Good luck Andy Cole

Best wishes for a speedy recovery from your kidney transplant.

Gave me and thousands of others many great memories. The five against Ipswich, that goal with Dwight against Barca, the winner against Spurs in 99....

If we had him scoring his one in six chances, we'd be top now

Heard they sourced the new one from Glasgow.

Edit: This makes no sense. I'm sure I read "liver" not kidley

Nearly started a thread on it. Obviously it's being treated in the correct way and a kidney transplant is necessary. An absolute legend of a United player.

Lot of revisionism about Cole. This idea that he needed 'five or six chances' to score is nonsense but it's also given this image of him being a penalty box poacher which is not just untrue but seriously underplaying his quality.

It was sort of true at Newcastle, but lots of hacks (typically) never revised their opinions.

when he joined us he was a poacher, but over the following years he developed into an all round top class forward....... would love a 28yr old Cole now playing for us...........seriously underrated by nearly everybody....... Good luck with his recovery............

Yes it was utter %@#$&!s. He didn't miss anywhere near as many chances as some people thought but the ones he did miss were sometimes sitters like the one in Madrid

£#%&! off Hoddle
