to me the problem isn't swansea, it's west ham.

they completely shut down for that swansea game because they were saving it for us.

The problem is we've been a shambles.

Like West Ham, if anything like this happened to Liverpool, it'd be in the High Court already.

But let's be honest, LVG and Ed absolutely ruined any chance we had of top 4 by not doing the decent thing in January. Anyone telling me Jose wouldn't have done better can £#%&! off.
I can't disagree but there was a time when this precise thing was used to forge a siege mentality. You can't change the fact that the entire country is rabidly ABU and just dying to see United lose, so you might as well use it to your advantage. Only that doesn't seem to happen any more because the players have had any signs of life sapped out of them.

Yep, Freggle used to thrive on this stuff. But it's not as easy as it sounds - that's what made him such a boss. We were spoiled with him.

True. He managed to convince the Aberdeen players everyone was against them.

Yep. Would anyone really be upset if Mourinho called Mike Riley out as a cheating scouse @#%&! and had to spend a couple of games hiding in a laundry basket?

yep,
we're such a pushover these days - on & off the pitch.
Every @#%&! & his mother are having a field day.

I'm not remotely interested in some 8 year long 'possession Football' pipe-dream.
I want a siege mentality back asap.

Mourinho needs to be in place before pre-season otherwise this time next year we'll be talking about clean-sheets & Swansea not trying hard enough again.

Mourinho gets a siege mentality. What he doesn't understand is that a siege mentality isn't much £#%&!ing use when the enemy is on the inside.

you misunderstood pal

i meant the problem with swansea - people are saying they didn't try against city, but really they did well for them and it was west ham throwing the swansea game to save it for us that was the problem in the last knockings of the season.

Remember when Jermaine Jenas boasted that if the league season was just a few weeks longer, Spuds would walk it??

They didn't win a single game after that
