Default quick question regarding Leeds united

I remember them playing a european game at a neutral venue (Nou Camp) who was it against and why wa it played there?

I'm racking my brain, a Leeds fan in the office claims it didnt happen, I am convinced it did.

From memory....it was against Stuttgart after they fielded an ineligable player so uefa ordered a replay at a neautral venue. 1992/93 season.

Think Leeds lost the 1st leg (away) 3-0 but won the 2nd 4-1 meaning they should have gone out on away goals but Stuttgart fielded an ineligable player so for some reason UEFA ordered a replay at a neutral venue

Pretty certain it was Nou Camp. Carl Shutt scored the first, think it might have been Strachen with the second.

Wasn't it 91/92? I thought Cantona played in that game.

It was the first round of the European Cup the following season so Eric probably did play.
