....................Vds

O'Shea........Rio......Vidic......Evra

......Anderson......Carrick

Ronaldo.......Giggs.........Rooney

.................Berbatov

I'm half tempted to play the 4 up top that finished the Spurs game given the tracking back & work rate that was going on but it might be a little early to steam in with that. Rooney to play that left side the same as the Spurs game as he was so effective but also because he'll help cover a shakey Evra against another £#%&!ing rapid winger in Walcott.

team -

vds

oshea
ferdinand
vidic
evra

carrick
big andy
giggs

rooney
tevez
ronaldo

opted for tevez today as he added tempo to our game on saturday and against a quick team last arsenal we need to defend from the front otherwise they will walk the ball upto the halfway line and then start running at us with pace.

i think we could win 3-1 tonight.
you not been stabbed or filled in by coppers yet?

true. ....
views from an arsenal forum.

Once the game gets going this is how our formation will start looking like imo....

----------------------Almunia

-------------Touré--------Djourou-----
Sagna---------------------------------------Gibbs
-----------------Song---------Nasri
-------------------------Cesc--------Diaby
----------Walcott-------
-------------------------Ade

interchanging

It'll be a 4-3-3 most of the game in attack turning into a 4-5-1 in defense.

Key man is Diaby, if he brings the work rate he can really influence the game with his size and length, it'll be hard for them to break us down with 4 CM's especially with Song and Diaby's size. If Cesc starts getting bullied out of the game playing in the hole look for Diaby or Nasri to step up and Cesc sit deeper to get on the ball more. Song will be backing up Walcott.

I'd be extremely surprised if we didn't play with this lineup.

Tbh the receptionist downstairs would give Evra a mare these days and she can't climb steps.
Luckily I have enough for a bong for afters. Got a feeling I'm going to want to forget what just happened.

vds
o'shea - rio - vidic - evra
giggs - carrick
ronnie - berbatov - rooney
tevez

pretty much the same team as finished against spurs, just giggs in for scholes. morale will be sky-high and with the arse without van persie and arshavin that team would give us a decent chance of putting the tie to bed in the first leg. go for the throat, fergie, let them off the leash.

anderson, fletcher, welbeck, park, nani, rafael, foster on the bench.
