I can just see Arsenal just being a bit too strong for Utd tonight. They're just coming into form at the moment and I think that Utd will be a bit too tired.

we'll do well to go through.

rio's back is £#%&!ed, ergo rio is £#%&!ed, ergo our defence is susceptible, ergo unless we score 1 or 2 at their place we will probably go out. hope i'm wrong - rarely am tbh.

i absolutely detest arsenal and can't stand the thought of going out to that shower, so i'm as nervous as i can remember about tonight.

i'd be reasonably content with a 0-0 tonight, as i think this tie will go to away goals. i can see us scoring at the emirates and think a clean sheet is vital for us tonight.

I think it will be hard for us to rough them up like we do in league games, what with a euro ref in charge. That will play into arsenal's hands.

I don't fancy us tbh, Home Leg 2nd is the way to go. Tight result tonight and Arsenal to scrape through at their place

After watching Liverpool against Arsenal when they went at them with a high tempo and Arsenal were shit at the back, I was very confident. At the time I thought I hope Fergie sees that and does that at O.T. But no, we heard the dreaded comments at his conference yesterday about away goals etc, and I was reading today in the paper that Fergie's said we have to stop Walcott and Fabregas

Rafael to start

aside from that I'd expect the team that won in Porto to get the nod again

plenty of craft, plenty of drive and plenty of goals in that side. can spring from a 5 very quickly too, which is crucial.

I think we'll be as good as through after tonight, winning by 2 clear goals.

I would however, take 1 nil, because we will score away.

Yeah, we always score at their place, and I'd be confident of protecting any lead, so I don't see a clean sheet as being vital. Based on their defensive horror show at Anfield, I'd fancy us to win by a couple of goals if we're in any kind of form going forward.

The way Arsenal defended against Liverpool gave me great heart. However, I don't imagine for one second we'll go at them with the same directness and agression. Instead, I should imagine we'll play our usual cautious, backing off game and give them loads of time on the ball.
