Could certainly see Giggs Rooney Ronaldo leading the line, with a deep sitting central midfield.
specliation on sky news that the awesome foursome will start.

Arsenal will play 3 in midfield so which 2 would you pick to go against them if we pick all four up front.

If we did I wouldn't even consider Carrick or Scholes.

Giggs with either Fletcher or Anderson.

Can't see all four for that reason.

Giggs is a certain starter tonight. I can't see Tevez getting in the XI

Too inexperienced for a European semi final. He won't risk it.

Edit- I would go for-

VDS

O'Shea Ferdinand Vidic Evra

Fletcher Anderson

Giggs

Ronaldo Berbatov Rooney

Default I'd go for:

VDS
Rafa/JOS
Rio
Vidic
Evra

Fletch
Giggs
Ando

Rooney
Ronnie
Berbs

edit: Withers, great minds and that

I'm pretty sure that Giggs and Anderson will both be starting, that's why they weren't used at all at the weekend. Probably Fletch with them. Rooney on the left, Ronnie on the right and Berbie down the middle.

I think Withers got the basic formation right, but can see it starting out like this:

---------VDS------------

O'Shea Ferdinand Vidic Evra

----Carrick-- Anderson----

---------Berbatov--------

Rooney---Ronaldo-----Giggs

It's possible, he does like Ronaldo through the middle in Europe, however given Arsenal may have no Clichy, Gibbs and Silvestre he may play Ronaldo right depending on who is at left back for Arsenal.

I don't doubt he will play through the middle at some stage though. If we get two goals up in the second half I could see Park on for Berbatov and Ronaldo through the middle with Park and Rooney out wide.

yes - I imagine alot of switching being done by Ronaldo to fully test the discipline of their full backs. We should easily have the measure of their defense, though, and I am not worried about us not scoring.

my main concern is keeping track on that little #@&%! Fabregas and killing off thier supply line. I really think Anderson's the man for the job and can see the Spaniard seeing his arse (with some Anderson-son-son chants).
