Good luck with that. You'd probably have to go to court to cancel it by all accounts.

really?

i thought it would be pretty easy as it's not a fixed-term contract like sky sports, is it?

No but there's horror stories of people trying to cancel it. Court may be an exaggeration but they won't make it easy. All games up to the Hull game are confirmed on Sky by the way.

You can't cancel Setanta until the fourth quater of the year. It's part of their t&c. Even if you plug out the box they will know.

Is the boro match on Sky on Saturday? According to Sky Sports the fixture doesn't exist.

Cancel your direct debit with your bank and wait for Setanta to contact you. They will probably tell you that you owe a months subscription, thats what they did with me.

I wouldn't even bother trying to cancel with them over the phone, it is supposed to be a nightmare.

Just spoke to them as need to cancel mine.

You need to send an email to

[email protected]

quoting your setanta number, sky viewing card number and name & address.

You will then receive an email confirming that it has been cancelled.

I spoke to Steve Jones. He was Welsh as well. No wum
