Klopp said: “I’m not afraid Lewandoski is going to be leaving us next month.
“Manchester United is one of many clubs that are showing an
interest in him. But the fact remains the contract is with us."

it's on

Honigstein says the story is sourced from Lewandowski's agent, nothing formal that he knows of.

Didn't Casillas sign for us several times, then he got his new contract and all was fine again?

Seems like a strange time to be buying a player that will be cup-tied and is already in the middle of an excellent Champion's League campaign with his current club.

Unless the deal has been agreed with a view to a move in the summer, which will probably mean at least one of the current crop are being £#%&!ed off.

It won't be Van Persie, can't see it being Welbeck, so that leaves Hernandez and Rooney. Hernandez is going through his best season at the club...

Such a £#%&!ing strange one this

Another striker? Can surely only mean Hernandez is leaving, no? But 22mill is a lot of money for someone to come and sit on the bench, if we presume Rooney an Van Persie are the first choice two..

I think Hernandez gives us something none of the other strikers can so i'd be surprised if he goes.

I reckon £25m for Rooney and £20m for Nani.

He won't sell Rooney. If anything he'll end up moving him further back into midfield.

Yeah, if James Milner is £24m in today's market, that's about right ain't it.

Hernandez wants to play and start more often, which he has a decent case for, always liable to score even if he doesn't do as much as Rooney or rvp all round, he's just a proper poacher. Keeps defenders busy.

Lewandowski will wanna play just as often as Hernandez though so I don't see how this signing is supposed to pan out. He's very much a leading striker though so won't be dropping deep like Rooney or rvp at times so he'd be a direct replacement for Hernandez if that did happen.

Where do people think Rooney will improve and develop on in his forthcoming footballing years? His goal tally isn't up there so are we expecting him to be a midfielder? If so is there anyone out there who is a better midfielder than him? If so then we should get rid.

You could get 45/50m for Rooney without breaking sweat.

35m for Carroll so we can expect about 200m for Rooney, if Liverpool are in for him.

Odd isn't it? I can't say he's ever impressed me much when I've seen him.

Hope it's a smokescreen for Gotze, Gundongan or Hummels
