not so worried about his absence on wednesday, fancy us to do fine without him, next sunday however is different, chelski dominated in midfield at OT last season, honestly think that without hargreaves they may do so again.

Hargreaves will be missed on Wednesday in my opinion.
Especially with Fletcher & O'Shea unavailable.
There's nobody fit at the Club who can do a defensive midfield role!

Not sure what the side will be, particuarly with Wayne back.
He can't start Saha, Rooney, Tevez, Ronaldo & Giggs.....
It'll be interesting team news.

We ought to just go all out, shit or bust in Europe this season. 4-2-4 in every game!....outscore the £#%&! out of everyone.
(Unlikely & potentially disastrous admittedly)

Like it.

Brown in the engine room, evra at right back.

That'll learn 'em.

gibson is likely to travel with the squad, don't know about pique, nice to see the more promising youngsters being introduced to first team football.

Completely contradicting headline stories on the official website and other sites too.

Just goes to show that none of them have any idea what they're talking about.

Hargreaves is important for tomorrow, but essential for Sunday. We had Chelsea's number for an hour at home last season but their midfield overpowered us and we lost our stranglehold on the game.
The fixture last season was a perfect example of why we shelled out £17m for Hargreaves.

Other way around, wasn't it?

He moved to right back and pushed forward a lot, I'm sure he did. This meant Giggs had to move out of the middle to track back down our left and our midfield became stretched and subsequently overrun.

It's simply something that wouldn't happen if Hargreaves was there.
