We’ve had a bid of €65m turned down by Inter apparently and a few ITK’s are saying he’s Jose’s main centre back target

Did a bit of research on him (wiki). He’s Slovakian and only been at Inter for one season, looks like another summer of Woody haggling with the Italians.

Quality player. Be surprised if he left this summer.

All the sages rate this guy.

Seen him once and think we should shell out £80m for the lad tbh.

Haven't seen him play but I have seen that lad for Napoli a couple of times (name escapes me) and he looked £#%&!ing ace.

Anyway -we need fast players to hoover up the loose balls, not a slow vac.

I tend to think United need a Vidic sort, albeit one who can pass the ball (well). I see Varane linked again and I'm not keen on him. Pity that Sevilla CB looks set to move to Barca, he was very good vs United.

Edit: Thinking more an organiser, and someone who'll lead by example, not so much a hard bastard. But as said above, few beers.

Because he is potentially a significant upgrade on the others, and is at a good age. May go on to be one of the top few in Europe.

Ultimately, we need to be looking beyond the top 6 in England and compete in Europe.
