Here's the thing: if he's that good, clubs will pay it.

I'm willing to bet they won't. And it'll be nothing to do with Woodward.

You think Rashford is going to ask to leave?

He's been managed abysmally. Even outside of how well he does elsewhere, it'll cost the club lots of money too as we'll probably take a loss on what we paid and due to the contract situation may not get what he's worth now.

He was up for the fight, but it didn't matter. He's had his card marked from day one under Mou.

He's been performing like shit, not in the world cup, he's not amongst the elite. He can barely influence a game against shite opposition.

But will probably go on to become a solid 15 goal a season kinda player.

Yep. Horrific management yet again by a backward manager whose record for binning off talented young players is unrivalled - he’s a joke.

Don’t blame Martial at all; awfully handled by a dire manager.

Feel sorry for Saffers/AKers et al.

They’ve flip flopped back and forth about a dozen times over the past few months about whether they want to keep the lad or not. Must be very confusing tbf when you have to align all of your opinions with someone else.

Early stages of the season he was a substitute and he responded well. By scoring goals off the bench.

He then got three league starts in a row around the turn of the year. He scored in all three games.

Then Sanchez.

Shirt numbers, FFS

Sort of sums up everything that is wrong with modern day football.

Mourinho weeding out the weak willed soft arses. Both in the squad and on the forum.

The manager clearly didn’t think so.

It's an ego thing. And if you think egos are new in football you're well off the pace pal.

Hence me saying it didn't matter what he did.

Egos have always been a thing, but genuinely can't remember many losing their shit over shirt numbers until the last few years.

At the very least, there used to be a sense they had to be earned - rather than a young relatively unproven player like AM just being entitled to one.

Clearly it did. It’s a team game.

Scoring goals definitely helps the team.

Think it's fairly uncommon to take a number off a player like this. For this exact reason; the reaction usually won't be great.

But that is easy to overcome if you show genuine faith in the player when he does well. We lost Martial in January when he realised it doesn't matter how well he does.
