Liverpool wanted to sign him last season but the club refused to let him go before the World Cup.

He can play CB, LB or higher up at LWB where Young has been playing. Eight or 9 Yellows and a red in 30 odd matches so CB might not be a good option

He will be cover for three positions and probably wont be first choice IMO unless its higher up at WB.
