Imagine believing Smalling is top class? He's a fraud and the state of Rooney, surely he won't be a regular next season?

Obviously there were players as bad or worse than them two but from a United perspective them two should not be regulars for us.

There has to be a team somewhere in that England squad.

Never going to win it but better than 1 win against the teams we played in this tournament

I bet there's a 'when I'm fit I play' clause too. There must be... There's no other excuse.

Maybe the players just wanted off so they could go on a longer holiday before pre season starts.

I don't buy that clause either. Just don't believe it would have been on the table after the previous season in Van Persies relative shadow.

Still having visions of Rooney watching it roll under his boot, two..? three times was it in a 5min period? Then mis-placing every pass he attempted, long or short, for the majority of the 2nd half as well

Horrific. Against Iceland as well, not even as if he was being relentlessly pressed - it was just mental incapacity. There was some £#%&!ing wisdom of crowds shit going on after Hart's £#%&! up, it just permeated through the whole side & they fell to bits.

Mental.

Me neither - I think it was Van Gaal making the greedy bastard earn his wages

Complete team wide choke. England in the past for all their flaws and archaic football have always had strong characters and personalities, not this lot, generation snowflake indeed.

Carrick and Scholes wasted to allow the egos of Beckham, Gerrard and Co to dictate the play, and now Rooney in midfield, how badly have England managers botched that area over the last 15 years?
