Unsure why he got so little pre season (unless he was the one late) but today he was class, offers something different cutting in and not afraid to have a go .....


Big season for the lad ?

I'd have absolutely no hesitation in giving him plenty of opportunities. A starter in the cup competitions and a fair few runouts in the league.

totally agree, don't want to over hype him, but he has that arrogance that Striker's need for me....

He could be a once in a generation talent, didn't look out if place at all today or last season ...

Kid’s brave too. Looking to influence the game rather than just escape from it. If he finds his feet at Prem level he’ll keep Rashford out nqat.

The kid adores Ronaldo, hope he gets a season playing with him.

Yeah think he was naughty.

That's how you instill some discipline.

Looks great. Like an old school 50's footballer. Probably smokes woodbines. Get him in the team.

With 5 subs this season there's no reason why he shouldn't get plenty of opportunities from the bench.

Martial, Rashford, Ronaldo, Sancho, Garnacho. Nice front five to pick three from.

Bit annoying that he hasn’t had more game time over the pre-season. I think he can genuinely challenge Rashford for his spot in the team.

Reminds me a bit of Bale… the way he runs with the ball etc.

I’m not talking about playing on the touch line like Stanley Matthews
In a front 3 you still have someone playing from the wide right position and only Sancho is comfortable playing from that side

There's also been a lot of interchanging mid game as the past 5 games have shown....

Wingers aren't really a ten hag position....

A player can move around and be fluid but ultimately they’ll be doing most of their work on the side they are picked for

Martial cannot play on right ffs

Never said they are wingers
They are wide forwards but they clearly still play from a certain side like Anthony playing from the wide right for ETH’s Ajax

Only Sancho can keep his level playing on that side
Rashford for example looks dogshit from that side
