Wouldn't have got in ahead of VDS so would he have been the same keeper he is now? Probably with loans just like city managed him.

If his kicking was better I'd say he's the been the best keeper in the world this season. Reckon Casillas just shades it though, especially seeing as his bird's unreal.

seriously though, hart's a cracking keeper in some respects but less so in others - distribution not great, poor concentration on occasions, tendency to parry shots right in front of him. his reactions are sharp which makes for eye-catching saves, but he's not beyond being made to look a tit sometimes.

He could be a mixture of Schmeichel and VDS but I still wouldn't want him.

It's the hairstyle, I just can't tolerate it at all - it looks like Audrey Roberts has done it while still in Emily Bishop mode. I can forgive a lot of things but I can't forgive a young bloke with an OAP womans hairstyle.

Yes, with Salas you'd have won the CL at least 11 times.

I know this because my boss in the mid/late 90's was a Utd fan who used to obsess over the players Utd were linked with but didn't sign. Salas was his favourite and he got better and better any time Utd didn't win. I remember he was absolutely gutted when Dwight Yorke was signed, he ranted at me:

"If Dwight Yorke was so good, why hasn't he got a single England cap?"

Flawless logic, tbf.

Christ knows what the poor bugger is doing now regarding Wesley Sneijder.

I was like that with David Hirst. I also maintain that Duncan Ferguson would've been unreal at United.
