JT.... Went upstairs for a piss (me, not him) maybe about to puke, then... missus and two lads suddenly went mental. Then big Edwin did the rest ....

The joy is ebbing thru me now

Spurs 2nd half springs to mind. Rapeage.
Apparently that was the original plan, but then Quieroz left.

According to an interview with Quieroz.

“I think Alex will play Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Tevez, Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov all in the same team,” insisted the former United number two, “And if this system functions as he hopes, it will make Manchester United’s the most dangerous attack in the world.”

In fact, there were plenty of weak ones all-round. Ashley Cole's was shit. Barely to one side, waist height off the ground. VDS goes the wrong way though so it's a 'great penalty'.

Best one was Hargreaves. Absolutely German-ed it in.
It wasn't a shit pen, Cech was nowhere near it.

Edwin got a hand on both Lampard and Coles.

Nani and Anelka took the only two "must scores".

Yes, ofcourse he did. Sorry. I'm thinking of Belletti (spl). Cole was the one I thought VDS had saved.

Hargreaves wasn't technically a 'must score', but we'd have been two behind with 2 to take if he'd missed. Just felt we were clinging on til Terry missed.

Nani, Cole, Lampard, Belletti and Anelka were all really meh penalties.

Actually, I think you'll find that penalty shootouts are no predetermined by who will miss and who will score at what stage, therefore creating different circumstances and outcomes.

Thanks for playing.
