There are worse ways to do that than winning number 20, tbh.

If we don't add, we won't.

If we did buy a class midfielder, and THEN we won it - yes, I think I would.

Nope. We are well capable of winning the league this year and I think we will. Ferguson knows how to win the league and that will be deciding factor imo.

However, that doesn't deter from the fact that we are not as good as we were. Standards have dropped at United and we are paying for that now with poorer players and poorer football.

We've gone from annihilating teams with fast, attacking football between Ronaldo, Rooney, Tevez, Berbatov, Scholes and Giggs to a 'get it wide and grind the opposition down' snorefest with the likes Valencia, Anderson and Young.

Knowing how to win the league only takes you so far you know. You also have to win the league.

We still could of course.

Hope we do.

I'm a slapped arse & I'd like to see good football, youth given a chance & United not dragged over the £#%&!ing line.

Panache, style, class... It's missing & it's depressing.

So yeah, while I'd inevitably be delighted it will forever be tempered with that feeling that it is under duress. I'm perfectly aware of how it sounds but £#%&! it.

Investment in the midfield.

That, or a total Holocaust for City and it's squad.

Exactly mate. It's not being spoilt, it's just expecting the standards that Ferguson himself has always demanded.

Hope £#%&! KFC doesn't see this

No, just because the league is easier to win then it once was doesnt mean we should only settle for being just good enough to do that, the consensus is that everyone wants to watch a United quality midfield compete against aggression away from home, simple as. We need that imo.

i reckon if we win the league this year, Mick Duxbury will definitely be playing left back next season.

It's not easier to win the league than it was. It's much harder. We've won the league with 78 in the past. We had Roy Evan's Liverpool and Leeds as our closest rivals for large parts of previous seasons. The top two isn't set in stone as it once was, nor is the top four and you rarely get whipping boys of the standard of Barnsley and Swindon anymore. We may not be as stylish as we used to be (also debatable), but to suggest the league isn't as strong or it's easier to win is false.
