Yeah when have Mata and Lingard ever scored important goals

We've got loads of variation in the front 4-5 players especially if we get Perisic and Ibra resigns.
If a front 3 of Rashford, Martial and Lukaku isn't working he could go with Ibra and Lukaku with Big Fellers in behind them, a complete variation from the 3 previously playing. I'm not sure many defences would want to play against that if chasing a goal

Ibra can't resign, he doesn't work for us..

You're talking about the same group of players that struggled all last season for goals, with the exception of Lukaku, who probably isn't as good as Zlat when all said and done. Zlat who currently doesn't play for Manchester United and is out until January..

Lukaku offers us a lot more than Ibra did last season
Pogba, Mikhi and Rashford will all be much improved on last season. I think we will kick on this season, no doom here

Looks like 4-3-3 but 3-5-2, Mou has tried it a few times in pre-season, not sure we have the right players in key areas to make it work or the goal threat either.

However if he does commit to it.

Dave
Bailly
Jones
Blind/Rojo-would be strongly tempted to stick Tunazebe in.
Valencia
Matic
Herrera
Pogba
Darmian-major problem, Blind to LWB?
Mikitaryan
Lukaku

Would be heavily reliant on Pogba scoring 15-20 goals and does not find a spot for Martial/Rashford or Mata. Might have to drop Herrera, push Pogba deeper to get one of those in.

Shaw learning how to cross a ball during his rehab would help, in either system.

darmian is utterly pointless. tuanzers, tfm or a training cone would be better at left back. shaw and rojo need to get fit asap.

martial looks like a good second half sub. not enough room in the team for all of martial, rashers, mata, mkhi, herrera and pogba. soz. still not enough defensive midfield. would like to see carrick play as often as possible before he dies.

de gea

valencia - tfm - bailly - tuanzebe

herrera - matic - pogba

mkhitaryan

rashford - lukaku

tfm - bailly - tuanzers effectively a back 3 with matic sitting in front of them, whilst the tiger roams.

could make a case for martial, mata, lindelof and smalling (and, if fit, rojo, shaw or young).... and carrick, obvs.

darmian, jones and fellaini can £#%&! off. darmian does £#%&! all, jones is too unpredictable and fellaini is fellaini.

yes, I have forgotten blind. it's for the best.

We don't have three 20 goal scorers let alone one 30 and 2 twenties so why bother to pick.

mata and mhiki both got double figures.

they scored more between them than martial and rashford did, that's what the problem was.

I'm sure Mkhitaryan can do more kick-ups but so what? Jesseh's the boy.
