The first minute...

"Remember, there's only one person you can trust - yourselves.

And the fans. You can always trust the fans.

And your families at home."

He needs to shut up as this stuff will get him sacked faster than the results...

Rodgers on 2 points from 12: It's an exciting challenge. It's about rebuilding here. Bringing new players in, adapting to the culture of the club.

I turned over to SSN and straight away I'm confronted by Brenton saying Danny Ings was "outstanding" after coming on at half time

It's like some sort of nervous tick with Brenton that he has to use outstanding at least once in every interview
He could get beat 8 nil and he'd still use that word to describe something about his team

Hopefully he hangs onto his job for a bit longer but it isn't looking good

“I think on the back of their last performance here there was a little bit of anxiety in the first half but in the second half we freed ourselves up a bit more. I thought Danny Ings was outstanding."

I never learn my lesson, I had Liverpoor down as my banker on the predictor talk sport game and they haven't won at home again, against a crap side.

Rebuilding the team he built last season.

Just like his new signings are always outstanding until they go out on loan

Long may he continue
