albiol will play imo metzelder is £#%&!

re lady gaga

I actually think they will play alonso and diarra as the deep lying players and then 4 forwards a la the galactico era.

Pellegrini is a good coach but will have 100% control over picking the team? probs not

.........Diarra.......Alonso

Ronaldo......Kaka..........Robben

..............Benzema

That's how i'd line the front 6 up. Stupid to get rid of Robben imo.

Defence is a little more difficult.

Ramos....Albiol...Garay/Metzelder/Pepe....Marcelo

I'd definitely have him ahead of Robben.

Strange.

Robben is one of the best left wingers in world football.

Whenever i've seen Higuain he has been up front, or on the right.

I'd take Robben any day of the week for the left hand side.

Fair enough, i'd put Ronnie on the left with Higuain on the right of the three.

That means paying £80m and then playing someone out of position...

I know he can operate on the left, but i feel it would be a foolish move if Madrid did that. Especially when there is no real need.

But it's a fluid system, it's not like they would be playing as wingers. If they were going to play 4-4-2 then Robben would be the choice on the left, but a 3 behind Benzema is perfect for Higuain and Ronaldo.

Not sure I buy into that myself. We'll see how it pans out anyway.

Arshavin would be my first pick. If he stays fit, I can definitely see him being a contender for player of the season.

don't take much notice of the sky hyped games tbh.

be interesting to see how Brucie goes on this season with Campbell up there as well

also be watching out for Ipswich, and looking forward to seeing if Martinez can get Wigan playing decent stuff - hard act to follow after Bruce tbh, Wigan were superb at OT last season and were playing good football throughout the campaign by all accounts (saw their game at Anfield on the tele where they were excellent til going down to 10)
