They keep going on & on about this re-layed pitch & how 'unfair' it is that Chelsea & Arsenal played on the old pitch...well, perhaps if they tilted their ABU cameras up a bit they'll see the stands during those Chelsea & Arsenal games & will see blocks & blocks of empty £#%&!ing seats.

It must be somewhat easier to play an away game if the home crowd aren't arsed enough about you to even bother turning up.
United on the other hand have to take part in everyones £#%&!ing Cup Final.

The press will be superimposing Wigan shirts on the victims of that Burma cyclone & putting it on the front page....BEAT MAN UNITED FOR ALL THE WIGAN MAD VICTIMS OF THIS TRAGEDY etc..

It's funny how SkySportsNews/the newspapers aren't questioning Bolton's attitude to Sundays game isn't it?

What we should be talking about this week are Manchester United and Chelsea. Instead the press, very cunningly have switched the spotlight onto wigan, placing them under a bigger pressure to perform. Now, they feel obliged to go that extra mile and try that bit harder, so as not to appear like walkovers.

Meanwhile, Bolton have been allowed to just get on with planning their summer holidays this week, no pressure - nobody will particularly raise any eyebrows if they're 2-0 down after 20 minutes.

Bolton have a decent record at Chelsea so I £#%&!ing will!

If Wigan had been given this build up to their trip to Chelsea they'd have folded - they're £#%&! for £#%&!'s sake

The football media in this country, as I keep saying, are an absolute joke. Why anyone truly believes they can affect this match is beyond me, other than the vague possibility they may want to tap into the bizarrely addictive, and so highly lucrative, popular belief that they can do so - while the brown paper bags are exchanged behind the scenes.

The problem sky and in fact the general media have, is that United are set to dominate for at least another 5 years and season after season of united winning is just going to become a bit too predictable for them.

To be fair when liverpool kept winning everything every year most football supporters wanted them to lose and it was a breath of fresh air when they finally dropped out of dominance and for a few years there were a few different teams that were able to compete; leeds, blackburn, aston villa, newcastle, norwich, arsenal, and of course United.

Those days have gone and cant be good for the premier league to be a two or three horse race every year between the same two or three clubs.

We can expect a lot more anti United stuff in the media over the next few years.

Sky were ridiculously bias today. What made it more sweet was Chelsea drawing, all the ABUs didn't have the 'goal difference' thing to start going on about. Chelsea's result was never really mentioned during our game until they score, even after TWO minutes of our game Andy Gray was saying as each minute goes by we'll get nervous etc, or something like that what a @#%&!. They didn't even wanna mention Chelsea's result at the end, they just brushed it under the carpet.

LMC for some reason you're ignoring the fact United have the biggest national and global "support" and by far the biggest guaranteed TV audience.

If a subscription tv station sucked United #@&%! and you were anti-United would you tune in?

Careful how you answer

i'm really £#%&!ed off with sky, the bias shown by gray today was laughable, seriously thinking of £#%&!ing sky sports off and getting setanta next season instead.

You'd have to if they (sky or whoever) were the only game in town?...

I just think that for sky to retain value in showing the games the actual competion needs ingredients such as a certain level of unpredictableness and for some different teams to sometimes be up there competing for the championship.

If they start showing games with half empty stadiums it presents the impression that nobody's arsed about the game etc. You have to remember that United matches only make up a percentage of the games they show, Sky pay their money to show the games based on all the games combined and thats a pretty penny at the moment. If we get another few years of this two/three horse race stuff with the same teams competing every year then the 'general' public will lose interest.

Thats why this year has been pretty good for sky, but overall i'm sure they want a more competitive premier league with more teams fighting it out than just united chelsea and arsenal.

It's all fair enough though, they can try to take swipes at united but they have no influence over the results of games, no control over the team fergie picks or the performances of the players so £#%&! em
