if he's in for tomorrow anyway, then id be tempted to appeal so he can play v Arsenal.

3 points there would be HUGE.

Real lack of discipline from Rio in my opinion.

Just when we needed him and he needed games.

Total numpty.

If he appeals it & can play against Arsenal, it would more than likely invoke an extra game ban - so Pompey at home, Villa & Everton away & then home to West Ham.

Also, he's not going to get any games now before the Milan game (tomorrow aside) so I'd just take the hit, appeal, get him in against Arsenal & then let him get right for Milan. Vidic should be back for Villa anyway...

That's %@#$&!s mate.
We ARE victimised by the FA. Have been for years.
There's nothing scouse about it. When was the last time a Liverpool player was retrospectively done for something??

How the £#%&! can they ignore the Gallas 'ankle breaker' from last week & do Rio just for swinging a £#%&!ing arm?

The FA consistently punish United for stuff like this while other teams get away with it time & time again.

£#%&!ing £#%&!ed off now:shakehead:

I see your point in regards to other things like this in the past but not here. It's beyond stupid what he did against an average player for a shit team in a game that we were in control of.

Also, Gallas mistimed a challenge (badly) but was at least trying to play the game even if he got it badly badly wrong. Rio was just doing what I believe he calls a "self-merk". Dozy @#%&!, that he is..

If he refutes it the hearing is Thursday, so will still miss Arsenal at the weekend, so he's best off just accepting it by the looks of things.

@#%&!.
