Will be interesting to see what he does at the World Cup. He was poor at the Euros last year.
Yep, didn't score from a single corner. Despite taking many.

All he does is score goals.

Won't be interesting at all.....

The World Cup isn't a barometer for a striker.

It's the highest demand mentally. The CL may have more quality, but the pressure of a World Cup is next level.

Not saying he won't do it btw. Hope he does.

Rooney has never banged at the World Cup....he's our all time top goal scorer...

Ronaldo ? Doesn't bang.

Messi ?

International football is a herring.

Rooney was always half fit tbf.

Messi was class in the last World Cup imo.

And he didn't just not bang, he was awful at the Euros. His confidence at Spurs is bulletproof; not sure I've ever seen a player more adored at a club.

At Madrid or Bayern if he didn't score for the first few games of the season they'd be out for blood. Just saying it would be a different challenge. He's not the most naturally gifted striker; he'd need to be even stronger mentally.

This.

Always interested to see how players do outside their comfort zone.

Spurs are geared to him and a good side.

Crazy record though and seems like a grounded lad.

He could score in any side. Doesn't rely on blinding pace. Scores all sorts.

Nope, billy and siders think it's because he wears a white jersey at the moment...

His ability to frequently get shots on target with little to no space is Van Nistelrooy-esque.

He takes things very early too. Rarely misses the target and always taking the shortest route to goal.

Lukaku does that too. Very little £#%&!ing about.

They generally aren't, but I'd say someone who bangs goals every weekend would be a good addition over some golden boot gimp who grabs a few at tournaments...

Wasn't really the point though was it.

I'd take him over 2004 Milan Baros ofcourse.
