Deserved.

Our hardest working player and never gets caught out any more. Final ball still really annoying but actually improving a bit in that respect lately.

always been a brilliant dynamic player under ferguson. proved his top class technical and tactical level under van gaal. absolute £#%&!ing beast lately under mourinho.

Been brilliant the last few years, never seen him so delighted on Wednesday.

Seems a popular member of the squad too.

Solid.

It's worth noting that Mourinho was exhorting him to play a forward ball the other night (when we were 2-0 up) and he was reluctant. Not the most skilled player with a full back directly in his way. Fast though.

Kick run cross

Tone is a great lad by all accounts and has been a very useful squad member. Didn't he sign a new contract only a few months back though?

Decent enough but nowhere near a top level full back. Solid, disciplined, strong, best engine i've seen on a player.. but Offers absolutely nothing in the final 3rd unfortunately.

Come on.

Absolutely nothing would be Darmian in the final third. Valencia may not be racking up the assists, but not many full backs do. He is a great outlet and much more palatable at RB than he was in his latter days on the wing.

Spoiled with Evra and G Nev down the years.

But lets be honest, valencia couldn't cross a road.

Yep, absolutely no issues with him at FB.

I think you'll find evra more than chipped in with assists and goals of his own.

Adore Evra but his crossing was not good. Made up for it in other ways with his dribbling and how he could spark attacks from deep.

Wonder if Mourinho will put out a Utd side with 2 attacking full backs with the freedom to play that way. Would certainly help in some of the home games against weaker sides when we need to be more aggressive.

Will be very disappointed if Shaw allows his career to drift to mediocrity, should be one of the top full backs in the game with his skillset.
