you can read into stats whatever you like, but there's no hiding from the fact our transfer business has been £#%&!ing disgusting during that period.

..& we still look at least 5 or 6 players short - & that's being generous.

Chucking more money at it this summer will definitely help though

It doesn't help that we seem to get £#%&! all for our deadwood and Chelsea get record transfer fees somehow.

Suspect that's because our deadwood is hideously overpaid: young's on 110k so I shudder to think what the likes of Darmian and Blind get -- at least 80k I suspect. I means we just can't give them away....

Suspect that's in euros, but still far too low. Even lower league shite goes for 10-15 mill these days.

Suppose you’re right, it’s probably our wage structure which tacks onto how well spurs are doing on theirs....
Constantly the second best team in the league over the past 5

Fellaini is gross.

tbh, I don't care about the net spend itself.
I just think United's figures savagely illustrate what a bloated mess we've become post-Fergie.

Blame lies with woodwart imo.

It's a bad habit chucking money at every problem.

Tighten the purse strings and make them work with it.

But considering how much prices have inflated since then. How about Evans for £6m and then figures of £20m are being quoted for him going now. Chelsea got rid of some shit player who came on as sub for them once to Sunderland for about £10m and he's barely played.
