What a team.
It's a shame that those group of players have got so few honours between them.

Can't be arsed to Google them, but I don't think any of them have a more than the odd cup medal.

Park Ji-Sung has more than that lot put together

Martin Buchan

The Fonz was my hero in that team. Always had Dogleash in his pocket

Loved how he £#%&!ed that Royal Slag off when she grabbed his arm in 77 to stop him lifting the cup as he hadn't yet bowed or whatever and just hoisted away.

Always his own man

He used to go out with my mates sister and one day she brought him home for sunday afternoon tea to meet her mother.

We were kicked out and so spent about 20 minutes looking in from outside making £#%&!er signs and calling him a ginger @#%&! from behind their backs knowing he couldn't do anything.

You're right but quite a few of them were in the squad that brought us up as division 2 champions.

Tommy Kav

Used to love taking the long way around the running track, back to the bench after treating a player. Made a point of waving to everyone in the 63,000 crowd.

four pints and steak and chips pre match, real men who liked a smoke and a gamble

Bulk of them were in the squad but some played pretty minor roles during the second division sojourn

You're absolutely bang on though that it was the best time to be a utd fan
