Wouldn't do any harm to send him to another premier league side (not Sunderland) for a few months, then see where we are with him in the summer.
I'd love to see it work out with him, because he does look like he's got a bit of talent. I'd be gutted if we sold him and he ended up outstanding elsewhere.

Not 30m no way. We didn't pay that much in the first place. 20m is more like it. He is young still even though he is a show pony who prefers to look like a walking charity shop rather than take up what talent he has, there is a tiny chance he could come good.
