He had a great two months at the start of last season when we hoped the penny had dropped with him
It clearly hasn't and never will

If you are as bad on the ball as Smalling is you better be a very good and consistent defender however he is anything but
Makes constant £#%&! ups when you can least afford it and his idea of defending is to man handle his opposition player

We are going nowhere near winning a league title while he's playing centre on a fairly regular basis

I cant remember the @#%&! making one tackle, I would have kept Jonny Evans ahead of this clown faced bastard.

he's no paul mcgrath, but I would still take him over cahill. if all big mike had faced is ibra and fellaini, we'd be talking about another assured display.

He improved a lot last year, but that only took him from shite to decent. Form started to dip as the season wore on.

Gets more credit than he deserves because he heads and blocks stuff like a typical English defender, but he's giant £#%&!ing flake and ultimately not good enough. Always at home to a £#%&! up, a shirt pull and he has the personality and authority of a roll of carpet.

But apart from all that, he is every bit the United player
