You'd like to think so, but we've been a shambles in the market since Woodward took over operations.
I think we've signed players on deadline day during each of the last three summers: Fellaini in 2013, Blind/Falcao in 2014 and then Martial last year. Failed moves for Herrera and Navas/De Gea also thrown in there. The sign of an awfully run club. That level of disorganisation will be tough for Mourinho to fix on his own. I'm expecting a busy August more than a busy June. |
