Same people who've been slagging Ferguson off for donkeys will be posting from their armchairs Sunday eulogising and all dewy eyed about him leaving.

I think we should stick with Ron. He's building something special.

FFS I remember them trying to get Lawrie Mcmenemy
THAT was £#%&!in scary - Forum needs to get a grip.

Fergusons choice so that'll do. Right choice? Well he wasn't having that Sven @#%&! here so the signs are good

Mcmenemy was before fat Ron. He was history by the time Fergie came along. Fergie's appointment was roundly welcomed. Success was a bit slow coming as far as anyone could see and impatience started to show. Just looked like more of the same promises (Sexton, Ron) only Fergie hadn't even won a cup until erm....he won the cup. Bought himself time>>>>>>>>>>>>>history.

gonna be funny watching some of you bandwagoners cope with a real transition. y'know, one without the trophies.

Big Fat Ron was third choice behind McMenemy and who was the other @#%&!?
Was it Bobby Robson?

Anyway I recall SAF being thought of as dour IIRC and every man and his dog thought Jock football was shite.

Who wouldn't want a manager who defeated real madrid or broke celtic-rangers domination heh?

equivalent of fergie joining us in 1986 would be mourinho joining us now. instead we have bug eyes
