Does anybody want to be at the Emirates these days?

I think the biggest difference between Fergie and Wenger is that Sir Alex has found it in him to evolve. He realizes the footballing landscape has changed and has changed with it, whereas AW still thinks that players want to go to Arsenal for two-bob for the 'prestige'. Look at the way Fergie dealt with the Ronaldo situation. I think he realized early on that the best deal the club was going to get was one more fully commited year with a handshake and big fee at the end of it, so that's what he did. No tears, no whining, just plan ahead and move on.

I almost hope Wenger does force Fabregas and Nasri to stay, because in one fell swoop he will be condemning his team to further mediocrity. His two best players wanting to be elsewhere, and no significant funds to bring in people who do want to be there.
