He's only 32.

He'll do a Gerrard and sack the yanks off after a year as well.

Isn’t the MLS just full of hard running athletes? Can’t see him lasting more than a month.

Good point actually, a lot of people still seem to think the US scene is like when Best et al saw out their careers there.

Have you watched it? It's still shit.

But it's a fast game to be fair, far too fast for Rooney.

Coleen's end game is almost there too. Wonder how much she'll rinse him for once he retires.

Double figures in the prem, a hatrick game....

Unsure what sort of league some people think the MLS is...

He was still at the very top of the squad in fitness tests when he was here..

That’s weird, because he looked like an utter mess in every single game he played for us this season, while Rooney has tucked away a hatful of goals for a horrific Everton side

In fairness, Zlatan had come back from a serious injury, which should have put him.out for longer than it did. So not the fairest of comparisons.

Fair point, but he went from looking utterly off the pace in the PL to making his debut in the MLS, scoring 2 goals and looking very comfortable in a fairly short space of time.

A good 3 months after his last game for United.

Didn’t realise it was that long tbf.

You’d have to think if his fitness had been looking better he’d have at least made a few minutes off the bench in that time though.
