And they only scored because Bailly thought he was sat on the bench

Disgusting performance from a team of @#%&!s

When they showed the VAR replay, I’m thinking “nah, ref’s not having any of tha...oh he’s £#%&!ing given it!”

Big, big fan of VAR me

The 4 ex-footballers in the studio all said it wasn’t a penalty.
The ex-ref unequivocally said it was.

Having heard ex-players talk about fouls/diving & offside & be absolutely wrong, even tho they played for years means I’m going to side with the guy who was paid to be a ref.

As for VAR, I was agin it, now I’m fer it.

Imagine if we had VAR for the CL game v Porto? Would we have complained about VAR then?

They were talking about handballs before the game, and refs are going to be getting much stricter on them. If your arm is away from your body and prevents the ball going in the direction it was travelling, it will be a penalty.

There will be loads of those next season onwards and we'll suffer at some point nqat.

Imagine if Spurs had goal line tech in 2005? Swings and roundabaouts innit.

League match v knock-out CL match? Hardly comparable.

Cost Spurs a top 4 place.

Point is, you can't just say VAR is great cos a decision went in your favour.
