Notice psg give 2 year contracts. They should get in moyes on a 7 year contract and wait until he eventually turns it around.

Red Star v Napoli was pretty poor. Vermin are going to walk this group and get a nice cushty draw in the R16 and they're £#%&!ing cruising again.

Disgusting.

what are you talking about he had that famous midfield holder/destroyer
di maria playing in there. not di maria's fault he was up against the best midfielder ever to play the game. and also henderson.

They should still beat Liverpool at their place, mind.

Wouldn't be pinning much hope on that tbh. The scousers are looking like making life pretty pretty ugly for us in the near - medium term.

I doubt the dippers will have an easier match all year.
The modern day champions league. Used to be a time group games had a tension to them because only group winners were guaranteed of going through. And the best runners up going through also encouraged open games with both teams going for it. Now group games are boring as £#%&!. Groups watered down. No tension because you can lose two or three games and still qualify. No need to take risks. No need to go for it. Buy hey, lower risk means guaranteed income for the big clubs and that’s what matters. Shite.

Not really. They’re at their peak. They’ve been on a run of form as well as they are capable of playing. It can’t last forever and their average performance level over a full season isn’t good enough.

what makes you think they're at their peak? Mane, Firmino and Salah are all 26...Van Djik 27. Keita is 23, Robertson 24, the keeper is 25. I reckon they could have another level to go up yet.

I’m not talking about a player’s peak. I’m talking about form, individually and as a team. There’s good form, poor form, and the norm. Liverpool have been playing at the top of their form for a while. Confidence and momentum and all that. It doesn’t last. They’ll regress to their mean at some point as sample size increases.

If any of their best players ever get to an average performance of the highest standard they’ll be leaving.
