Rafael is never fit and as such shouldn't be relied upon as first choice.

Coleman would be a good buy imo at a decent price (arf!). Surely we could chuck Evans into the deal, Hed do very well at Everton I reckon.

decent player, but how uninspiring.

The Leighton Baines to Luke Shaw's Nathaniel Clyne

or something.

Rafael's number of appearances over the last 4 years have been disappointing to say the least. I'm not sure coleman is the answer though.

love Rafael. cracking little player and an infectious character. that's an underrated quality. he's a player I actually enjoy watching and want to see in the shirt. there's so many @#%&!s that I don't.

injuries are going to cost him his United career though.

Not sure about Coleman either. I'm sure he'll be solid enough, just seems like there must be better, cheaper, younger options.

Everton 'braced' as United make 'tentative' enquiries. I just picture United officials tiptoeing like Elmer Fudd towards Everton as they sit all clenched and tense.

still, if it's in the Sunday World, I'm on board.

Evertonians seem to genuinely think Coleman is the best right-back in Europe now that Lahm has become a midfielder.

I know Scousers have a tendency to overrate their own players, but Coleman is definitely one of the best full-backs in England.

There does seem to be a shortage on other top quality options, too. Piszczek at Dortmund seemed like a good player, but he's had horrible luck with injuries.

they also believe every single action on the pitch is A stonewall Everton penalty.

including substitutions.

We'll know all about it if United ever make an offer. Everton will start whining and moaning to the press in true Scouse fashion. "Blues want £40m for Coleman" etc. even though they only paid £60k.
