Griezmann, as good as he is, underwhelmed me when it was touted we were signing him...

Perisic seems to have gotten a big "meh" from loads...

Linked with Bale and it was all "past it, injury prone, Madrid reject"

Any defender mentioned doesn't seem to be met with much enthusiasm...

Even brilliantly talented players like Pogba and a world class proven striker, Ibrahimovic, were met with a lot of cynical thoughts and opinions....

We'd be linked with Ronaldo tomorrow and people will say "Oh he's coming to the end"

Not actually messing here, is there any player we could sign that would appear good enough?

That's not our job to answer. All we can answer is Lukaku isn't top class United quality. Wouldn't get near any of our best teams. Ask mourinho and the United scouting system who's better, it's their job. If they can't find a player better than Lukaku, sack the lot.

ronaldo would be ok for a couple of seasons on a free.

We should have signed Kevin Phillips when we had the chance.

Prefer to give Rashford and Martial more of a chance. Good player though.

Think we'd sign Lukaku if we could, but he's got his heart set on Chelsea.

Only proof you need is we're still linked with a bunch of strikers and chelsea barely linked with any.

I think the biggest issue I have with Lukaku is his attitude. He just doesn't seem to have the mentality to make it at United. He doesn't have the drive to be the best. The will to win and then keep on winning.
