for all this talk of us moving swiftly and decisively in the transfer market this summer, we just seem to be following our recent strategy of flinging money at any @#%&! who'll listen

what's the betting depay is still our only signing in six weeks' time?

Would be a good signing, especially as a replacement for that @#%&! Evans.

Promising young player, and would help the homegrown quota.

We do need to sign an experienced centre-back though.

that only works if we've signed someone

no idea why people cream themselves over who's the first to repeat some information they've heard - sorry, I mean "broken" the story

Good player. Ball playing CB at that, possibly the only Everton defender that Utd have been linked with in recent years with the potential to play at the level Utd need.

Got him mixed up with John Stead for a second there. As you were.

He's a decent player but they'll want 30m plus. That's the trouble with buying Premier League players, especially English ones.

I enjoy reading it and it's all part of the fun, but watching the hacks grasp at air with a new story literally every day is great.

This, better off ploughing £30m into our academy to produce better english lads of our own.

Stones is potentially a beast but its a mad world when an English 21 year old who was at Barnsley a couple of years ago is all of a sudden gonna go for the same money someone like world cup winning Mats Hummels...

Jones and Smalling were the next big things too. We need someone who can lead a line.

Still think ferie £#%&!ed them both with the midfield and right back experimentation. Hard to get settled as a young player when you become a bit of a swiss knife for the manager.

Hummels comes with pedigree, talent and hunger to succeed after a couple of lean years at Dortmund. The right buy for us.

Transfer window doesn't actually open for another 17 days.

Only reason the Depay deal was put in place was because of PSG trying to get in early on him.
