I've always loved that slow motion replay of Rooney's and the crowds' celebration of the last minute winner in the background with Van Der Sar pumping his fist

Not a derby match we won but very interesting to see this footage of a packed OT for a derby against city in 1929

Does anyone have a link to the picture of the bertie wearing a skin tight laser blue bitter shirt?

Camp as Christmas, would cheer me up seeing that again.

Was great watching grizzly, old school Reds smacking all the giddy berts on Wembley way before the FA Cup semi-final. Was VVG2C.

Given their recent record against us, and our midfield injury problems and leaky defence, maybe ciddy will think they just have to turn up to win tomorrow - and we will surprise them.......

Sorry, but that's about as positive as I can get at the minute

Know where you are coming from, tbh.

At the moment we are dreading virtually every game. That cannot go on.

Footage of the Maine Road Derby in the 66/67 season

By the celebrations after are goal I would say Utd fans were taking over Maine Road back then as well and not just in the 80s

3 nil win at Maine Road in 1979

Greats goals by Coppell and Ritchie

18:22 into the clip - Maine Road empty except for Utd fans before the end of the match and they had a go at our fans for leaving early when getting beat 6-1. This is the 70s when fans were supposed to be at their most loyal
