Let's remember those halcyon days of pre season when Cleverley was making a jet lagged Barcelona team look like the overrated £#%&!ers they really are:

A very accurate and alarming statement.

We've very few central midfielders comfortable with receiving the ball while surrounded by opposition players. And fewer still who, when they do receive it, don't panic and are able to play a progressive pass. Basically him or Scholes. Ando is super relaxed in those positions but hopeless at passing. Carrick in a tight space - no thanks.

I imagine Carrick and T-Clev is the best midfield two we could put out. Looks a natural fit on paper. Pretty ridiculous that they've not been fit at the same time once this season. Put Jones in to make it a three and it'd be £#%&!tastic.

I'd rather he had a cringeworthy social media brand than a huge gambling debt from online poker and the tips on here. Probably kept him busy during his recuperation when he could've been up to all sorts.

Keep the off the pitch brand bland.

Yep those two and Jones the roving destroyer.

Is T-Clev using that utter cretin Chris Nathaniel to set up his 'Brand', like Rio? Hopefully not:

I don't mind the 'brand' stuff either. He's obviously being advised, and as he likely knows he won't get more than about 61 games out of his career, he's got to plan for the future.
