Elanga has to be taken out of the equation by being sent on loan. He's had way more chances than his performances have deserved. Maguire needs putting down.

How many big name managers have this lot seen off already?
I thought ETH had watched them last season.

He absolutely needs to get rid of a big name otherwise he'll go the same way as the last guys.

Rashford is the one. Failing that The Scottish Player will have to do.

Opening game of the season next weekend and we’ve lost our best striker of recent years. Our midfield remains dire. Defence improved tbf.

I hope we can agree letting that flake from Barcelona dictate the course of our transfer window is proving to be an error, add to that still pestering Ajax who made it clear they didn’t want to sell Antony at the start of the window .

Rashford started well today but he started slipping back into bad habits pretty quickly.

It’s that boom bust cycle all over again manager comes in with ideas to change everything the players go along with it but this is their level.pretty soon the manager adapts and we know where that ends up.

It can't happen in one window though, you have to be realistic of still having enough players to do a premier League and cup campaign...

We started with the rats - Hendo, lingard, Pogba, pisseria, cavani .

Old boys - Mata, matic, grant

It's not football manager, we've signed 3 and are pursing 5.....

These things take time....

Don’t confuse Ralph’s ability as a coach with is ability as a sporting director.
He would have had a few more out of the club this summer and if we had invested in some of the names he was spitting out Erik might have more of a chance now.

I’d say we are going into this season a lot weaker than this time last season and that should never be the case with us knowing what was needed and appointing our manager before the end of the season

Liverpool for example got in Nunez nice and early.

City agreed haaland and Alvarez before the end of season.

The team that needed the most work chased the usual one big name target for the whole summer

but don’t worry saf and Gill are back.
