The midfield

Easily the single biggest issue with the entire team. Everything stems from there. The inability to control games, getting over run at key moments, our defence being constantly exposed. All stems from that shit show in the middle of the pitch and how they are completely out of their depth against virtually every team they play against.

Why in the name of jesus jumping christ has this not been addressed yet? I cannot believe we are a week away from starting a season with Fred and £#%&!ing The Scottish Player as our only two central midfielders. That is tantamount to self harm. We must be sadists to do this to ourselves.

I’m not denying we need to strengthen there, but it’s not true Fred and The Scottish Player are our only central midfielders either is it

As it’s stands I’d say we have 3 proper senior options in there.
