Totally, you could just tell he was the real deal. Had some great games but was totally misused at utd, we got nothing out of his real potential, you build games around players who are that good, but we bit parted him.

Lacked the intensity to really thrive at United imo. Was passive too often.

If he'd have spent this time at any other Premier league club instead of United. He'd been seen as a God to them

However he was very much second fiddle to Rooney, coming into a polished team then Fergie lost trust in him

Underrated in the air, unbelievable first touch, lazy bastard and had a phobia of putting his foot through the football.

Decent player overall, wrong time though
