Was on a stag do just before christmas with one of the adidas reps who's involved in the negotiations, apparently they are quite hopeful but he would say that. Would love to see another adidas kit tbh.

£70-100m a year? Extraordinary, considering we may not be in Europe next season.

Arsenal and liverpools recent puma and warriors deals come in at 30m and 25m respectively.

City get 12m a year from nike, clearly not found a emirati sportsbrand to pay them something unrealistic and ridiculous considering what a small club they are.

Why the £#%&! would you want Adidas? They just stick the same few shirts with different colours on every team.

At least nike seem to care about us and try to treat us as special, even if it sometimes backfires (gingham).

It's better than wearing a red Madrid top.

Nike all the way.

Though to be honest I just want the guys to give us insane money and if poss some share of the global sales cos Madrid make shit loads off shirt sales whereas we only make a flat fee.

That article says we had major disagreements with nike which opened the door originally, maybe it's around that kind of stuff.

Don't see too many teams sporting our current home kit which was said to be inspired by cantona collar antics?

If they do it's certainly not as blatant as Chelsea, Madrid, Munich etc being pretty much the same shirt.
